- Executive Assistant to the Dean
 Jo Ann Hurley has been employed in the College of Education since 1979, first in the Center for the Study of Higher Education and then, beginning in 1985, in the Dean’s Office where she now serves as the Executive Assistant to the Dean. She oversees faculty recruitment, annual performance evaluations, promotion and tenure, and sabbaticals. She also chairs the College Awards and Recognition Committee and serves as the communications liaison to the Professional Preparation Board. Jo Ann received the University of Arizona’s Staff Award for Excellence in 1991, the College of Education’s Outstanding Service Award in 1992-03, and the College of Education’s Dean’s Bronze Apple Award for Excellence in 2001-02.

Dean's Office Staff
Provide advanced administrative support to the Dean of the College of Education, e.g., assist the Dean in his business affairs including the management of the Dean’s activities and interactions. Coordinate general administrative functions by monitoring budgets, coordinating the work schedules of other employees, and applying analytical and problem-solving techniques to assist the Dean.
