Staff Advisory Council

The College of Education Staff Advisory Council is a comprehensive and effective staff advocacy group. Formed in 1987, SAC consists of nine elected members and four standing committees. The group has played a significant role in advancing the professional interests of classified staff.

The Staff Advisory Council exists to foster and enhance communication between classified staff and CoE administration, to provide a forum for discussion and defining the role of classified staff in the College, to advise and make recommendations on existing and proposed College policies and procedures, to appoint members of the classified staff to serve on standing College committees, and to promote the mission and strategic objectives of the classified staff.

Announcements
  • SAC is currently collecting school supplies for PEEC Preschool students in the Marana School District. Look for collection boxes and flyers around the College of Education.

Meetings

SAC meetings are held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month. The current meeting location is EDUC 208.
